The nice morning light comes through the front windows and the rear courtyard receives nice light in the afternoon (which is especially handy when wanting a sleep in). It often feels like your own private oasis. We often get many compliments when people come through the centre doors, saying 'wow, I was not expecting this, it's like your on a tropical holiday.' Our place feels more like a small house than an apartment.
With the large courtyards, it allows for so many possibilities. Looking out onto the greenery and the garden is so relaxing (and you can do as little or as much gardening as you like - which is great!). The pool just one level below is so convenient. Despite being an apartment block, we often find having the pool to ourselves. I love being close to the walking track, it's so handy being able to easily take your bike for a ride or go for a jog. We enjoy listening to the birds in the afternoon. It's so quiet, yet so close to the shops, and an easy walk to Olympic Park when attending a concert.
We have lovely neighbours. You would expect being in an apartment that you would see people all the time, but it's often the opposite. We also changed strata companies a year ago and the new strata manager is fantastic, they are so on top of everything.
